1919 UNITED RY & ELEC CO BALTIMORE Train Streetcar Trolley Bus Transit Token 1-RThis 1919 transit token was used by the United Railway & Electric Company in Baltimore. It features a special mark slightly right of center of the U, which was struck on approximately 70% of these tokens. The size of the token is 16.4mm and it has a cut-out design. The token was in circulation and is made of white metal. The token is identified by the AC#MD 60 AJ and TC#238464. It was used from 1919 onwards and was part of the transit system for streetcars, trolleys, and buses. This collectible item is a piece of history from Maryland and the United States.
