1945 I P & L PEORIA ILLINOIS POWER AND LIGHT Streetcar Bus Coach Transit TokenThis vintage transit token from Peoria, Illinois is a unique piece of history. It has been circulated and has a size of 16.5mm. The token was used by the Illinois Light & Power Company for their streetcar, bus, and coach transit system in 1945 and beyond. The token features the letters “I P & L” on one side and “Peoria, Ill.” on the other. The token is made of white metal and has a cut-out design.
