The bronze token, measuring 16mm, features a cut out design and bears the inscription “TC-235902; Atwood-Coffee IL 110 A”. It was used in circulation from 1946 onwards and is a great piece of history from Illinois. The token was struck in unknown quantities and depicts the name of the city, state and transit authority.
