Lerch & Associates, which was sent to the Director of the Building Service Employees International Union in Chicago on December 17, 1955. We know this because of the letter that was tucked inside, signed by a VP of the company. The letter is included in this listing.It is noteworthy that this came from a collection that had some other items from the 1950s in Chicago, where this very same union was fighting the progress and shift from manually operated elevators to automatic elevators. This was probably research on the part of the Union.
