Description

1963 JOSLYN ART MUSEUM INVITATION Lumia The Art of Light Exhibit Thomas WilfredThis is a rare brochure from the Joslyn Art Museum for the Art of Light Exhibit with explanations on the history of Lumia who was invented by Thomas Wilfred. This also describes Spacetime Study Opus 153, which was a recorded composition. This copy came from a Fort Collins Historian who was a thoughtful collector of all sorts of things from books, to brochures, to bottles, to rocks. He was also a conservationist who had an eye for the artists to inspired others to action, and perhaps saw all things working together. This book this was inside also had inside 5 other brochures or letters, and because he and his family kept detailed records of their travels (which were coast to coast), it is likely that they personally attended this exhibit and gathered all these things. Then, they put them in a manilla to be found again nearly 60 years later. The other items will be offered in our other listings. The brochure measures 8″ x 4″
