Description
This brass token from Cincinnati Transit is a great addition to any collection of transit tokens or exonumia. With a size of 16.5mm and a cut-out design, it features the words “One Adult Fare” and can be used on trains, streetcars, buses, and coaches. The token was in circulation from 1969 onwards, and has the token ID TC-240563; Atwood-Coffee OH 165 AE. The quantity struck is unknown, and it is not a bimetallic token. The token was made in the United States and has the words “Cincinnati” and “Ohio” on it. The transit authority responsible for it was Cincinnati Transit, and it was used for several years in the state of Ohio.
