My Dad is a lifetime Chicago Cubs fan, famous for being at both the last game of the 1945 World Series (Game 7) and the last game of the 2016 World Series (Game 7), when the Cubs finally won the World Series.As a Season Ticket holder for most of his life, he got to know people at Wrigley Field, including some of the security people who were able to help him get signed photos on game day. This one is unique in that, for whatever reason, Johnny Bench, who was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1989, happened to be at Wrigley Field. He doesn’t recollect the details or date. It was Mark Grace’s second year with the Cubs.
Anyways, it’s unique in that whatever the circumstances, the opportunity to get Johnny Bench’s signature arose, and now you can have this unique collectible for your own collection.
