This beautiful 1970 Bing & Grondahl Mother’s Day plate with the title “Sparrow with her Young Ones” was designed by Henry Thelander. The motif shows a sparrow feeding her chicks in the bird’s nest. The nest is as usual made of feathers and straw.Plate is hand initialed “P” and has a wire for hanging – see picture.
