Vintage Authentic Royal Doulton Old Charley Character Large Mug Stein D5420
This is Old Charley, part of Royal Doulton’s English Characters group of Toby jugs. The side of his hat is the spout. This is the “large” size, 5-3/4” tall, not including the high point on the handle. The jug is 7-1/2” spout to handle. His name is incised on the back and is very easy to read. Old Charley was introduced by Royal Doulton in 1933, but we are not sure of the date this item was manufactured. No original box.
